Group HR Generalist, Centurion Office, Gauteng
The purpose of this position is to oversee all day-to-day HR and Training Activities in the Dust-A-Side Group under the supervision of the Group HR Manager.
The position will function on a management level with all staff in the HR and Training Department reporting to him/her.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
Matric / Grade 12
Minimum BCom Degree in Human Resource Management
Fluent in English
Minimum of 10 years’ progressive working experience in Human Resources with specific reference to the Mining Contracting or Construction Industry
5 Years’ Management Experience
Extensive knowledge and interpretation of HR Management Systems, procedures and policies, including but not limited to recruitment and selection,
Knowledge of BCCEI regulations and administration
In-depth knowledge of the Construction BEE scorecard requirements for Skills Development and Employment Equity Elements
Excellent knowledge of SA labour laws and regulations
Extensive experience on the SAGE300 payroll system, including monthly reporting activities
Excellent knowledge of all industrial relations matters
Experience in managing HR in multiple companies
Proficient in MS Office packages
Ability to manage a departmental budget
Excellent report-writing skills
Excellent presentation skills with experience in board-level presentations
Effective Business Communication Skills and Stakeholder Management with specific reference to EXCO-level communication and interaction
Strong Interpersonal Skills
Excellent Attention to detail
Strict Compliance to confidentiality
Extensive Travelling within allocated mining sites
Red ticket with no restrictions
Valid Driver’s License and own transport
